# SerializableCollection

> A bag of objects, held together for writing to a file.

Symbols in this group are spelled `otio_serializable_collection_…`. An SDK drops that prefix.

## `new`

`otio_serializable_collection_new` · constructor

Creates a serializable collection: a group of objects with no timing.
